Introduction of a knowledge management system linked to existing systems in the company

Following a comprehensive requirement analysis, the competence center Kaiserslautern has evaluated multiple issues within the knowledge management systems of the value chain of PS Automation GmbH. Based on these results, specific improvements have been derived.

Due to many actuator variations, it is a real challenge for the employees to recall all production steps from the existing documentation. This is where the pilot project comes in: with the help of displays and a smart information system the employees get the support to work more efficiently.

The challenge is to link all data from various programs so it allows optimum use for the employees. The competence center Kaiserslautern supports the company PS Automation GmbH and its employees through the entire process starting from the selection of suitable technology to the introduction of the process itself.
